Do Human Pheromones Work?

Research by Dr Winnifred Cutler, the person many attribute for the discovery of human pheromones, has published many papers on the subject. In one study thirty-eight heterosexual men, aged 26-42, completed a 2-week baseline period and 6-week placebo-controlled, double blind trial testing a pheromone "designed to improve the romance in their lives." The results are astounding - "A significantly higher proportion of human pheromones (47%) than placebo users (24%) perceived positive results during the 6-week experimental period" writes Dr Cutler et al. Moreover, it is reported that a significantly higher proportion of users of human pheromones had "an increase over baseline for Sexual intercourse and Sleeping next to a romantic partner."
